The Natick Comets hockey program was established in 1952 and has been providing a positive youth hockey, learning, social, and sportsmanship experience for Comets participants for 64 years.

We are a non-profit, all volunteer organization and thereby always looking for ways to keep all tuitions at a reasonable rate. We accomplish this in two ways, through fundraising and corporate sponsorship. Our main fundraiser for the season is our Annual Dance/Auction which takes place in November. We have other smaller fundraisers throughout the season, such as a Bruins alumni game, selling cookie dough, calendar raffle, etc. All of our fundraisers help subsidize clinics for our travel teams as well as equipment purchases for our skills and house league programs. Please contact Laura Sweeney at if you have any questions or are interested in assisting with any of our fundraisers.

The Corporate Sponsorship Plan also subsidizes equipment needs, particularly team jerseys. There are different donation levels of the Corporate Sponsorship Plan.  They are Travel Team, House League Team, Skill Development Program Team or general equipment support. Generally sponsors can expect the following with the different levels:

-  Company/Business name affixed to program-owned game jerseys for Travel Hockey teams. The life of the Travel team jerseys are typically 5 to 8 years.

-  Company/Business name affixed to individually owned jerseys for the House League or Skill Development Program teams. The House League and Skill Development program team jerseys are issued each year.

-  Company/Business name prominently displayed on the sponsor’s board/banner mounted in the William Chase Arena.

-  Company/Business name and website link displayed on the Comets website.

-  Receive an official photo of the team sponsored with a note from the coach each year.

-  Receive a tax write-off; we are a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization.

Most importantly, the corporate sponsor will know they are helping a local non-profit, all-volunteer youth sports organization dedicated to providing a structured hockey environment and promoting good sportsmanship.
