Natick Mite A Team Captures Tournament In The Woods Title

At the Tournament in the Woods sponsored by the Groton Youth Hockey Program, the Natick Mite A team outscored their first three opponents by a combined score of 26-1 to advance to the tournament final game against the Greater Lowell Mite A team. In the final, the Greater Lowell squad jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead. The Natick Mites responded to this deficit by skating harder and battling for every loose puck. The result of the Mites' determined play was a superb comeback and ultimately a 7-4 championship victory. Andrew McInerney captured tournament MVP honors. Congratulations to the Comet Mite A team.
