Masks
Natick rink masks required
Other rinks are family choice (but recommended by the BoH)
Positive Tests
Positive Test + Unvaccinated + Symptomatic or Asymptomatic = 5 day isolation + wear a mask until day 11
Positive Test + Vaccinated + Symptomatic = 5 day isolation + wear a mask until day 11
Positive Test + Vaccinated + Asymptomatic = 5 day isolation + wear a mask until day 11.
Exposures
Unvaccinated + Close Contact = 5 day isolation + test on day 5 (if possible) + wear a mask until day 11
Vaccinated + Close Contact (non-family) = monitor for symptoms + wear a mask until day 11
Vaccinated + Close Contact (family) = wait 5 days and receive a negative test + monitor for symptoms + wear a mask until day 11
Fully Vaccinated DEFINITION
Definition of vaccinated by CDC is now:
-12yo + = 2 shots within past 6 months. Over 6 months a booster is required.
-5yo - 11yo = 2 shots
-anyone = confirmed positive test within 90 days.
Close Contact
within 6 feet for a cumulative 15 minutes. The Natick Board of Health considers all hockey exposures a close contact because of the nature of the sport.
