We’ve heard you — clearly and consistently. Your feedback has highlighted what’s working, what’s frustrating, and where we need to improve. In response, the Board and hockey leadership have aligned on a clear action plan focused on improving communication, practice quality, scheduling, and overall player development — starting now and extending into future seasons.

Our goal is simple: create the best possible experience for every player and family in our program.

Improving Communication

* Clear, timely communication about schedule changes, ice updates, and program decisions

* Better use of Crossbar for consistent, reliable updates

* More transparency around the what and why behind decisions

Better Ice & Game Execution

* More efficient ice utilization (2–3 teams per sheet, no overcrowding)

* Fewer cancelled games through earlier communication and planning

* Stronger oversight of in-house programs

Redesigned Tryouts

* Clear and transparent age-based criteria balanced with coach input from the season

* Increased program ownership and oversight over entire process

* Improved communication and coordination to reduce anxiety for players and families
