Tryout registration for the 2026/2027 season
The ice is calling, and the Comets are ready to answer. We are thrilled to announce that registration for the 2026/2027 Natick Comets Hockey season is officially open!
There is a specific kind of pride that comes with pulling on a Natick jersey. It’s more than just a game; it’s about representing our town, our community, and a legacy of excellence on the ice. This upcoming season promises to be our most ambitious yet, and we want you to be a part of it.

We aren’t just hitting the "refresh" button; we’re leveling up. This year, we are introducing expanded program offerings designed to give every player—from those just finding their edges to our seasoned veterans—the specific tools they need to succeed.

Station-Based Training: More puck touches, more movement, and zero standing around.
Age-Appropriate Skill Building: We focus on the right skills at the right time to ensure long-term athletic success.
The "Fun" Factor: We know that players develop fastest when they love coming to the rink. Our ADM implementation ensures that the competitive fire is always fueled by a passion for the game.

tUITION
The registration (tryout) fee will be $125. Please note, this is paid at the time of registration and is additional to the tuition cost.

* CALLING all 8U girls, please register for co-ed tryouts and reach out to andrew.ballow@natickcomets.com if your daughter is interested in playing for the girls team!
Goalies
*NEW THIS YEAR* All full-time goalies will receive FREE tuition for the upcoming season.
GIRLS
If your daughter is undecided between coed and girls-only play or can’t wait to play on both - she can register for Youth Travel ($125) and add the Girls Travel tryout for a reduced fee of just $25. If your daughter is interested in 8U girls hockey, please register for Youth Travel Tryouts and reach out to andrew.ballow@natickcomets.com for more information.
Important Notes about Tryouts - please read!
* The tryout schedule is subject to change at any time.
* Groups will be assigned closer to tryouts
* Returning players, your crossbar will be updated with your players tryout session once assigned.
* We are unable to accommodate any requests to swap groups.

We've got that covered too! We are working hard on next seasons offerings and like our travel program, we're leveling up! We will continue to offer Learn to Play and Meteors AND we're excited to bring back Jr. House and House League - stay tuned for more information in the coming weeks!
