Skills with NHS Hockey Is Coming Soon
The Natick High School Redhawk Hockey team along side the Girls Head Coach, Bruce Ihloff and the Boys Head Coach, Karl Infanger will be returning to run skills for the 8U (Mites) through 12U (Peewees) travel teams.
The Fall skills session will run for 7 weeks from Sept 17 - Oct 30 on Wednesday and Thursdays at Chase.
The primary purpose of skills sessions in youth hockey is to improve fundamental techniques such as skating, puck control, passing, and shooting through structured drills and personalized instruction, ultimately enhancing a player's overall confidence, hockey sense, and long-term development. These sessions focus on repetition, correction, and reinforcement of skills in a fun and competitive environment, helping players translate learned techniques into game situations.
Because of the natural repetitiveness with skills, many players prefer to skip these sessions but we highly encourage participation.
"Repetition is the mother of learning"
