The Natick Comets are taking over the Worcester Railers on December 19!
Get ready, Comets! We're taking over the DCU Center for an unforgettable day of hockey on Saturday, December 19!
Comets Takeover Day is coming, and we're inviting ALL Comets youth travel players to be part of the action! Our players will have the opportunity to hit the ice at the DCU Center, experience some of the excitement of professional hockey, and then cheer on the Worcester Railers as they take on the Trenton Ironhawks at 6:05 PM!
From locker room access and entering through the players' entrances to skating on the same ice as the pros, this is an experience our players won't soon forget!
Even better? December 19 is also the Railers' Space Night, so expect plenty of out-of-this-world fun throughout the evening!
What's Happening for Each Age Group?
Meteors & Mites
Our youngest Comets will have several exciting opportunities to participate in the Railers game-day experience, including:
Intermission Skate: Take the ice during the professional game!
High-Five Tunnel: Welcome the Railers players onto the ice.
Blue Line Buddies: Stand alongside the Railers players on the blue line during the National Anthem!
10U/12U/14U Co-ed & Girls
Our older players will have the opportunity to play 60-minute, full-ice games at the DCU Center!
Games will take place during one of two time slots:
2:00–3:00 PM
3:30–4:30 PM
Players will be grouped by age level based on registrations.
How Do I Sign Up?
Comets Takeover Day is a ticketed event, with admission to the Railers game included.
All participating players, parents, and guests must purchase a ticket through our dedicated Comets ticket link.
Ticket Options:
Upper Level: $19.90 per ticket
Lower Level: $25.66 per ticket
Comets tickets are grouped in adjoining sections, so our families can enjoy the Railers game together!
On-ice opportunities are limited and will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Team assignments and game times will be determined based on registrations, and each on-ice activity has a maximum number of participants.
If your player wants to be part of the action, we strongly encourage registering early to secure a spot!
