What it means to be a team manager

A team manager for a youth hockey team is a volunteer who handles all the off-ice logistics, administration, and communication so the coaches can focus entirely on player development and on-ice strategy.

A youth hockey team manager is expected to be:

Organizer + communicator + logistics coordinator + culture manager

If you do those four things well, the season is considered a success—regardless of wins/losses.
